5. Verify that the USB IR receiver device is operating properly
under the MCE operating system.
Go to the Windows Start menu on the desktop, select My Computer, then
right-click
Properties.
Select the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
Look for and expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
Right-click eHome Infrared Receiver to verify the device is enabled and
operating properly.
